Years Experience in Supervision:
I have been a clinical supervisor since 2021. I have been supervising therapists since 2016.
Evidenced Based Practices Used:
CBT, DBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Person centered, IDDT, WMR
Populations Served:
Individuals ages 15+, Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Trauma, Substance use, Grief/loss, life transitions, personality disorders, Psychosis, Community Based mental health (ACTT/CST)
Supervision Style:
I have a very collaborative and conversational style in supervision. I use the developmental approach to supervision and meet the clinician where they are at. I believe in creating a relaxed and safe environment where supervisees can be authentically themselves without fear of judgement.
A Bit About Me as a Supervisor
As a fully licensed clinical supervisor, my goal is to do more than just help you check off your licensure boxes—I’m here to foster your true professional growth and clinical confidence. Clinical supervision & guiding new clinicians is my passion and probably my favorite part of what I do. I take a developmental approach to supervision, which means I meet you right where you are in your counseling journey. Together, we will examine your work, staff complex cases, and look honestly at both the professional and personal aspects of showing up as a therapist.
My job is to gently challenge and deeply support you through this process. Growth can sometimes feel a little uncomfortable or anxiety-inducing, but I provide a safe, structured space where you can receive constructive feedback, build on your strengths, and navigate those challenges.
With over a decade of clinical experience rooted heavily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, and EMDR, I specialize in working with severe and persistent mental illness, Mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and co-occurring substance use disorders. Whether we are diving into complex dual-diagnosis cases or navigating the logistics of associate-level practice, I am committed to walking alongside you as a partner in your development.

"I had the privilege of working under Britni’s clinical supervision for over two years. What sets Britni apart is her ability to challenge you in ways that promote real growth; she never accepted surface-level thinking and encouraged me to strengthen my clinical reasoning with both curiosity and intention.
She possesses an impressive clinical mind and has a gift for balancing accountability with deep support. Many supervisors provide oversight, but Britni provides true mentorship. The confidence and clinical judgment I carry today were significantly strengthened through her guidance, and I would highly recommend her to any clinician seeking an astute, supportive supervisor."

Work Experience

For more than a decade, I worked within a large nonprofit mental health organization, serving in roles ranging from community‑based therapist to Director of Operations and ultimately Vice President of Operations. This path allowed me to supervise numerous clinicians and gain extensive experience working with diverse populations and levels of care. Alongside my clinical work, I developed strong expertise in the administrative and business side of mental health services, including credentialing, insurance processes, and billing systems. I also have a background in DWI assessments, group therapy facilitation, and comprehensive clinical and diagnostic evaluations.
I have been in private practice work, to some degree, for over 5 years providing clinical supervision and individual therapy.
